Dayara Bugyal Trek

Bugyal in the local language means "High Altitude Meadow". Dayara Bugyal is one of the most beautiful places in Uttaranchal. Situated at an elevation ranging from 10,000 - 12,000 ft. This vast meadow is second to none in natural beauty in Uttranchal. During winter it provides excellent & one of the best ski slopes in India spread over an area of 28 sqkms.
The road to Dayara Bugyal branches off near Bhatwari a place on Uttarkashi Gangotri road about 35 kms. From Uttarkashi. Vehicles can go up to the village of Raithal from where one has to trek a distance of about 7 kms to reach Dayara and other is via village Barsu, 10kms from Bhatwari from where one has to trek about 8kms to Dayara Bugyal.
Day 01: Delhi - Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check in the hotel, rest of the day free at leisure. and overnight in the Hotel.
Day 02: Rishikesh - Uttarkashi - Raithal
Morning after breakfast drive to Raithal. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the Tourist Banglow.
Day 03: Raithal - Dayara Bugyal
Morning after breakfast Start Trek Up to Dayara. 07 kms Trek from Raithal with packed Lunch and on arrival evening tea with cookies. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 04: Dayara - Darya Top - Dayara
Morning after breakfast trek to Darya Top (12,000 - 13,000 ft.) with packed lunch. It gives you a close up view of peaks like - Bandar Poonch, Kalanag, Draupdi ka Danda, Gangotri I,II,III and Srikantha. Return to Dyara and on arrival evening tea with cookies.Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 05: Dayara - Raithal - Uttarkashi
Morning after breakfast down trek to Raithal with packed lunch. On arrival at Raithal drive to Uttarkashi. Evening tea with snacks. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 06: Uttarkashi - Haridwar - Delhi - Onward destination
Morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar, on arrival drive to Delhi. Then transfer to the airport, time to catch flight for onward destination.
